I've never needed a virtual assistant before so why would I need one now?
Just because you've never used a Virtual Assistant doesn't mean that you've never needed one. It's not uncommon for a company, in the course of doing business to manage unusual tasks as they present themselves. If a task falls under the purview of your company's normal business or if you have someone whose job it is to manage these tasks then you've got it covered. However, there are always tasks that come up which don't fit into your day to day routine. For these tasks it can be more cost effective to use a Virtual Assistant. With a Virtual Assistant, such as Your Virtual Right Hand there's no need to pull valuable employees from their assigned projects to handle something that just came up and there's also no need to keep a full time, paid employee around "just in case". That's what we're here for and that's how we save you money.
How do I know that you can do the work I need done?
Like you, or any other company, we're only as good as the experience of our team. Fortunately Your Virtual Right Hand has a good team with backgrounds in technology, documentation, business, website development, software development, and much more. Of course, I'm not saying that there's nothing that we can't do, nobody can honestly say that, but there's a lot that we can do. we don't believe in wasting your time or ours. If there's something that you need that is outside of our scope, we'll let you know. But rest assured that the next time you need it, we'll have gotten that experience!
I'm a new start up business and I don't have a big bankroll. I could use a website but I can't afford a top tier site right now. What can you do for me?
Small businesses are the backbone of our country, and every one is different and has different needs and limitations. We understand how hard it can be starting on a shoestring. Your Virtual Right Hand has a long standing, and well deserved reputation of working with businesses to provide quality websites and great SEO that will pull in customers. We'll do everything we can to work with you and work within your current limitations while allowing for you to expand and revise your web presence as your business grows.
When you create an interactive form or a document, do you retain any intellectual ownership?
At Your Virtual Right Hand our philosophy is that your intellectual material is your own. When we put programming behind your form to make it interactive or self calculating, ownership of that programming transfers to you as soon as our contract is complete. We stand by that same philosophy for all of the creative work that we perform. For instance, when we compose content for your website, that content belongs to you.
How much involvement do you require from me or someone from my company?
Of course, this is completely dependent on what we're doing for you. We will coordinate with you or your staff as much or as little as necessary in order to get your project started. From there, we'll keep you in the loop on all progress and verify that what we've completed at critical stages, meets or exceeds your expectations.
What is SEO?
"SEO" is an acronym that stands for "Search Engine Optimization". That's an on-going process of making adjustments to your website for the purpose of keeping you as high in online search results as possible. Nobody can guarantee you that your website will always be first in all searches, or even that you'll necessarily be on the first page of all searches. With proper SEO, however, you can be sure that your website will be has high in the search results as possible. The first page, of course, is always the goal and Your Virtual Right Hand has had great success at bringing our client's websites to the first page of searches.
SEO is not a one-time process. The internet is always changing as are web technologies. There are a great many variables but your SEO should be re-evaluated periodically to make sure that you're always on top...or as close to it as possible.
What's the difference between "Organic" and "Non Organic" SEO?
It's true that there are two kinds of SEO, "Organic" and "Non Organic". At Your Virtual Right Hand we specialize in organic SEO. Organic SEO is making your website come up in the searches to the highest place possible on the strength of the construction of your site itself. In other words, a combination of the content and the code, as well as other factors are optimized to be easily searchable by search engines.
Inorganic, or non-organic SEO can be helpful but can be expensive and higher maintenance. Non-organic SEO relies on a paid listing with the search engine companies in order to improve your rank and position in searches. This is generally done under contract which isn't foolproof, by any means. there are still factors that can bring you down in rankings in spite of having paid. What it comes down to is that if your organic SEO isn't up to snuff, your ranking is unreliable.
What is SMO?
"SMO" is another acronym that stands for "Social Media Optimization". SMO works hand-in-hand with SEO to help bring your website as high in searches as is possible. in this process your website is linked and optimized to your social media accounts, such as facebook, twitter, google+, youtube, and more.
How do I get a domain name?
Assuming the website name that you want isn't already assigned, getting the domain name that you want is simply a matter of buying it. Perhaps the word "buying" is a little mis-leading. Since you have to renew your domain name periodically, you're technically leasing it. There are a number of sources for purchasing rights to a domain name. Your Virtual Right Hand can work with you to find out if your desired domain name is available, find one that's close if the one your want is not available, and most importantly, find it at the best possible cost, since the price of a domain name is like anything else, the price is different where ever you look.
Can Your Virtual Right Hand provide hosting for my websites?
At this time, Your Virtual Right Hand is in the process of setting up as a hosting provider, but we're not quite there yet. We have worked with a number of fine hosting services and, until we're up and running, can recommend a provider that will be both cost effective and provide nearly unlimited features.
I already have a website that I like but it needs some work. Do you work on existing websites?
Yes! We would be very happy to work on your existing website.
I don't own a business but I would like a personal website. Can you build one for me at a reasonable cost?
Personal websites are becoming quite common and, of course, and individual doesn't need a website of nearly the scope that a business would need. Your Virtual Right Hand can build a personal website or blog at a reasonable cost while giving you attention and service that will make you feel like you're in the big leagues!
Once a website is created, do I still need you to maintain it?
All website and website needs are different. All websites require on-going maintenance and many require a level of technical expertise that goes beyond what most website owner/users are capable of. At Your Virtual Right Hand we're here to support you in any way that you wish for as long as you need us. If, however, you desire to take over maintenance in-house or turn it over ot another provider, we'll work with you and your team to the completion of that transition.
Once a blog is created, do I still need you to maintain it?
Web blogs don't generally require as much maintenance as a full website but maintenance is required. Whether that upkeep is performed by us, you, or someone else of your choosing is completely up to you.
